Frequently asked questions.
How many bunco score cards do I need for a standard game?
For the standard 12-player game, print 12 personal score cards (one per player) and 3 table tally sheets (one per table). The host's checklist (above) walks through the full kit count.
What's the difference between the score card and the table tally?
The score card is personal — each player tracks their own wins, losses, and BUNCOs across the night. The table tally is shared at each table; one person is appointed scorekeeper and records the round's running point total for "Us" (themselves and their partner) versus "Them" (the other pair).
What is a baby bunco (or mini bunco)?
A BUNCO is rolling three of the round's target number — three 1s in round 1, three 4s in round 4, and so on. A baby (or "mini") bunco is rolling three of a kind of any other number. Baby buncos earn 5 points; a real bunco earns 21 points and lets the player ring the head-table bell.
Can I play bunco with fewer than 12 players?
Yes — 8 or 11 players are common variations. With 11, the empty seat uses a "ghost card" that scores zero so the rotation still works. The host kit above includes a printable ghost card and four table tents covering Tables 1, 2, 3, plus the Head Table.
Are these templates really free?
Yes — every Apollo bunco template is free. No signup, no watermark, no email required. Print as many as you need for league night, ladies night, fundraisers, holiday parties, or whatever brings the group together.
Do I need special software to use them?
No. Each template is a standard PDF that opens and prints in any browser, Acrobat Reader, or macOS Preview. Print on regular Letter-size paper and cut to size.
