Yes. Every resume template on Apollo's Templates is free to download and use — no account, sign-up, or payment. Open the Word file or Google Doc, replace the sample text, and save your own copy.
Can I edit these in Google Docs and Microsoft Word?
Both. Every template has a one-click 'Open in Google Docs' button that copies it into your own Google Drive, and a 'Download Word' button for the .docx, which also opens in Word, LibreOffice, or Pages.
Which resume category should I choose?
Start with Professional if you want an all-purpose, all-industry style. Choose a field-specific category — nursing, truck driver, real estate, hospitality, academic, or college/internship — when your role reads better with tailored sections and the right vocabulary that recruiters and applicant tracking systems screen for.
Are these resumes ATS-friendly?
Yes — the templates use clean, standard headings and parseable formatting that applicant tracking systems read well, and they stay to one page. For heavily automated pipelines, the single-column styles are the safest choice.
How do I save my finished resume as a PDF?
After editing in Word or Google Docs, choose File then Save As (or Download) and pick PDF. Send the PDF to employers and keep the editable copy so you can update it for the next application.
