Backyard Games

Cornhole, bocce, shuffleboard and horseshoes — the games people lay out in a yard rather than a stadium. Each game gets a measured layout you can build from, the rules and scoring on one page, and a blank court you can put your own tournament's name on. Every sheet is a plain letter-size PDF.

Build it · measured layouts

Boards, courts and pits, measured.

Regulation and backyard sizes on the same sheet, so you can build the one that fits the space you have.

Play it · rules and scoring

How each game is played.

Plain-English rules with the court diagram as the illustration — enough to settle an argument at the picnic.

Name it · blank sheets with your logo

Your tournament, on the sheet.

Each builder puts a name, a subtitle and a logo on the court layout and downloads a PDF — nothing to install.

Backyard questions

Backyard games, frequently asked

How much space do I need for each game?
Cornhole needs about 40 x 10 ft: the boards sit 27 ft apart front edge to front edge and the pitcher's boxes extend 4 ft behind each. A regulation horseshoe court is 48 x 6 ft with the stakes 40 ft apart, though most yards play at 30 ft. A regulation bocce court is 91 x 13 ft — hence the 60 x 12 ft backyard version — and an outdoor shuffleboard court is 52 x 6 ft. Each dimensions page draws the full footprint.
Are these the official regulation measurements?
Yes — cornhole from the American Cornhole League and American Cornhole Organization, horseshoes from the NHPA, shuffleboard from the outdoor court standard, and bocce from the US and Italian federation courts, with the common backyard sizes shown alongside so you can build the one that fits.
Can I put a tournament name or logo on the court?
Yes. Each game has a builder that takes a PNG, JPG or SVG logo, a name and a subtitle, lets you choose a line colour and builds a print-ready PDF in your browser — a court layout for a family tournament, a company picnic or a league night.
Are these free?
Completely — no signup, no watermark. Every sheet is a plain letter-size PDF you can print as many times as you like.

Measurements from the ACL / ACO, NHPA and the bocce and outdoor shuffleboard court standards named on each page. Updated through September 2026.
