“A retirement party is often the only time a whole career's worth of people are in one room. These are drawn so the card carries the years and the person, and every one prints light enough to make a stack for the office, the school or the congregation.”

Frequently asked questions
Are these retirement invitations free?
Yes. All 77 designs are free to customize, download and print, with no watermark, no account and no email address.
Can I edit the invitation and print it at home?
Yes. Type the honoree and the details in the maker, then download a 5 x 7 PDF or a two-per-sheet letter PDF for card stock. Every design is drawn on a light page, so a stack prints without draining the ink. There is also a Word file.
Is there a Word or Google Docs retirement invitation template?
Every design downloads as a Word file with the finished card on 5 x 7 pages, which opens in Microsoft Word or Google Docs. Type your details in the maker first; that is where the text is edited.
Can I send a retirement invitation by text or email?
Yes. Every design downloads as a phone-sized PNG for a text, a team chat or an email, and two designs are drawn for a phone screen. The wording page has a ready office email.
Can I add a photo?
Ten designs have a photo window, from a gilded portrait frame and a class-photo card to a Then & Now card and a welcome-home flag swag.
How far ahead should I send retirement invitations?
Three to four weeks for a party or luncheon, and about six weeks for a formal reception, a military ceremony or a guest list with people traveling. The etiquette guide covers who hosts, no gifts and the order of the toasts.
