Tips for the best result

Type events right into the PDF. Every date has a fillable text box under the day number — click, type, tab to the next one. Works in Adobe Reader, Mac Preview, Chrome, Firefox, and mobile viewers.

Save your filled calendar. Most PDF viewers let you save a copy with your events intact, so you can come back and edit it later.

Holidays are marked for you. US federal holidays and popular observances (Easter, Mother's Day, Halloween, etc.) are labeled on the correct dates automatically.

Print on US Letter paper. Sized for standard 8.5 × 11" — any home or office printer handles it.

Frequently asked questions

What years can I pick?
Any year from 2025 onward through several years out. Holidays auto-shift to the right dates per year — Easter, Mother's Day, Father's Day, Thanksgiving, MLK Day, etc.
How do I type events directly into the PDF?
Open the printed PDF in Adobe Reader, macOS Preview, Chrome, Firefox, or any mobile PDF viewer. Click on a date — the box becomes a text field. Type your event, then tab or click the next date. Save the file when done; the events stick.
Can I print the same month multiple times for different people?
Yes — print as many as you want. The calendar is free for personal, family, classroom, or office use without limits.
Sunday-start or Monday-start?
Sunday-start (the US convention) is currently the only option. Monday-start (ISO standard) isn't a toggle on this generator yet — let us know via the feedback widget if you'd use it.
Which holidays get auto-labeled?
All US federal holidays (New Year's, MLK, Presidents, Memorial, Juneteenth, Independence, Labor, Columbus/Indigenous Peoples, Veterans, Thanksgiving, Christmas) plus popular observances (Valentine's, Easter, Mother's Day, Father's Day, Halloween, Earth Day, Election Day). Religious observances beyond Easter and Christmas (Hanukkah, Ramadan, Eid, Lunar New Year, etc.) aren't currently marked.
Should I use this or the Yearly Event Calendar?
Use this Monthly version if you only need one or two specific months — it's the lightest setup. Use the Yearly Event Calendar (12 pages, same fillable cells) if you want to plan the whole year as one printed planner.
