Classic Funeral Program — Bifold
Navy and gold with a laurel sprig. Suits almost any service.
A funeral program, also called a funeral bulletin, pamphlet or order of service, is the folded sheet handed to guests as they arrive. It names the person, lists what will happen, and usually carries a short obituary and a word of thanks. These 28 templates are complete programs with sample text in every panel. Type over it, add a photo, and print.
The cover gets the attention, but guests spend the service reading the inside. Order of service on the left, life story on the right.
Nearly every program, whatever its design, carries the same four things. The templates give each one its own panel.
A verse, a poem or a line the person loved usually closes the inside or the back. If you are unsure what to write, the examples and wording pages have text you can copy.
The sample wording is there so you can see how much fits and what size the type will be. To work from a blank program instead, select the text in a panel and type over it, or delete it. The ornaments, borders and photo frame stay where they are.
In the fillable PDF each line is its own field, so clearing one never disturbs the next. That makes the PDF the closest thing to a fill-in-the-blank funeral program.
All layouts are US Letter. For folded programs, print on both sides and choose flip on short edge, which keeps the inside the right way up. A slightly heavier paper, 28 or 32 lb, feels better in the hand and shows less of the reverse side; light cardstock works for the one-page design.
Print one copy first and fold it before running the rest. If your printer cannot print to the edge, that is fine: every design keeps its artwork inside a margin.
