How copying works

Copy. Edit. Present.

  1. Open a template and click Use in Google Slides to see the full preview in your browser — every slide, before you commit.
  2. Click the blue Use templatebutton and a copy lands in your Google Drive automatically. Replace the placeholder text and you’re presenting in minutes.
  3. Want offline editing or a Slide Master? Every theme is also a PowerPoint .potx — grab it from the template page and import via File → Import slides.
Free for personal, commercial, and classroom use — no attribution required.
Google Slides questions

About copying and editing.

How do I copy a template into my own Google Drive?
Open a template and click Use in Google Slides. Slides shows a preview with a Use template button in the top-right — click it and a personal copy lands in your Drive automatically. Everything after that is yours to edit.
Do I need a Google account?
You need to be signed in to Google to save your own editable copy, since the copy lives in your Drive. Any free personal Google account works — there's nothing to buy and no separate signup on our side.
Can I use these in a classroom with students?
Yes. Teachers copy a theme to Drive, then share it or assign it through Google Classroom. The templates are free for educational use with no attribution, so student copies are fine too.
Can I import one into a presentation I already have?
Open your existing deck and choose File → Import slides, then upload the PowerPoint .potx version of the template (available on every template page). Slides pulls the layouts in so you can mix them with your current content.
Are they really free, with no catch?
Yes — free for personal and commercial use, no email, no signup on our end, and no attribution required. Copy as many themes as you want.
