Pickleball Card Templates

Free printable pickleball card templates — singles, doubles, mixed doubles. Pick a size, drop in a photo, add team and player details, print. The 2.5″ × 3.5″ size matches trading-card sheets so you can run a stack right out of your home printer.

If you've spent any time at the kitchen line, you already know — pickleball runs on rivalries, post-game group photos, and a club WhatsApp that won't stop pinging. Trading cards turn the running joke into a keepsake. Print them for a club championship, a 50+ rec league, a corporate ladder night, or a kid's first 3.0 tournament. Every card has space for the team name (or club name), player name, jersey number, and event format — Singles, Doubles, or Mixed. The PDF runs locally in your browser; nothing uploads anywhere, nothing watermarks, and the whole thing is free.

Card-day checklist

What to grab before you sit down

The actual card-printing part takes about three minutes. The bottleneck is gathering the bits beforehand. A short list:

  • One sharp photo per player. Portrait orientation. Faces in the middle third. Action shots from the kitchen line look great; tournament-day group photos cropped to one player work just as well.
  • Team or club name. Keep it under 20 characters or it'll truncate. "The Dinkers" fits. "The South Bay Pickleball Association Mixed Doubles Group" does not.
  • Player name + jersey number. Pickleball doesn't usually use numbers, so feel free to use seed (#1, #2), USAPA rating (4.0), or just leave blank.
  • Event format. Singles, Doubles, Mixed Doubles, or a custom tag ("Senior Mixed", "3.5 Open", "Tournament Champion").
  • Card stock or plain paper. 60–100 lb card stock prints crisp; plain paper works fine for a pre-cut decoration. The PDF includes cut lines on the Normal size so you can chop the four cards apart with a paper trimmer or scissors.

Frequently asked questions

Are these pickleball cards really free?
Yes — every Apollo pickleball card is free. No account, no email, no watermark. The generator runs in your browser; the PDF saves directly to your computer. Use them for club tournaments, rec-league senior nights, a kids' team fundraiser, or just because the kitchen-line group photo turned out too good not to print.
What does the position field mean — what should I put?
Pickleball doesn't have positions like soccer, but most clubs label players by event format: Singles, Doubles, or Mixed Doubles. You can also use a skill-rating tag (3.5, 4.0), a team role (Captain), or just leave it blank. The placeholder text in the form gives the most common formats as a hint.
Can I make cards for a doubles team — two players on one card?
The current generator builds one player per card. For doubles teams, the most popular pattern is to print two cards (one per player) and tape them together on the back, or use the Team sheet which fits 9 cards on a single page (perfect for a 4-team doubles ladder, 8 players plus the captain).
Can I use these for a 50+ rec league or senior tournament?
Yes — pickleball's senior leagues are a huge use case. The cards work great as a season giveaway, a tournament memento, or an end-of-season banquet handout. The Position field is flexible: "Senior Doubles", "Mixed 60+", or a USAPA skill rating like "4.0" all fit cleanly.
Do I need to install anything?
No. The card runs entirely in your browser using standard PDF generation — works in Chrome, Safari, Edge, Firefox. There is no Adobe Acrobat requirement. The downloaded PDF prints from any standard PDF viewer.
