Chili Cook-Off & Super Bowl Potluck Invitations

Three invitations for a football party everyone cooks for: Chili Cook-Off, a big pot with a ladle, chili peppers and a winner's ribbon rosette, with a back note that reads Bring your best pot · tasting at halftime; Chili & Football, a bowl of chili with cornbread on a gingham napkin and a football beside it; and Super Bowl Potluck, casserole dishes and slow cookers on a long table with a pennant runner, badged Bring a Dish, with Appetizer · Main · Dessert on the back. Chili Cook-Off opens in Burgundy & Gold, Chili & Football in Orange & Brown and Super Bowl Potluck in Royal Blue & Silver.

Hosting tip

For a cook-off, ask cooks to arrive thirty minutes before kickoff, number the pots instead of naming them, and hand out tasting cups and ballots at halftime. Blind judging keeps the friendships intact.

How it works

Details, wording, colors, download

Open any design above in the maker. Type the hosts' names, the date, when the food starts and the kickoff time; the back carries the address, the RSVP and one line for the party, such as wear your team colors or bring a snack to share. "Super Bowl" is live text too, so any card works for a playoff game or a regular Sunday.

Pick one of the three team-color palettes drawn for the design, then download a 5 x 7 PDF (front and back), a two-per-sheet letter PDF for home printing, print-shop PNGs with bleed, 4 x 6 PNGs for a photo counter, a phone-sized PNG to text or email, or a Word file. For more lines to put on the card, see the Super Bowl invitation wording ideas and the football party etiquette guide.

Frequently asked questions

Is there a potluck invitation with no alcohol?

Super Bowl Potluck shows only casserole dishes and slow cookers, and its sample is hosted by a church fellowship group; it suits a church, school or office watch party.

How do I say what to bring on a potluck invitation?

On the back: the Super Bowl Potluck sample lists Appetizer · Main · Dessert so guests can pick a course. The wording page has more lines for chili cook-offs and potlucks.

Can I use Chili Cook-Off for a cook-off that isn't on game day?

Yes. Only the date and the halftime tasting line tie it to a game; change the note to any time you like.
