Most of the set is full colour — bright kawaii creatures on patterned grounds and bolder flat scenes on deep night skies — with two silhouettes for the older readers and one purple-line potion for anyone printing a classroom's worth.
Every library summer-reading programme I have talked to runs a fantasy week, and every one of them was printing a dragon off a search result. What is in the Fantasy set?
Three dragons (a hatchling, a fire-breather and a cracking egg), a fairy on a toadstool and a fairy door, two castles (one in daylight, one by moonlight), a unicorn over a rainbow, a wizard, a woodland elf, a mermaid, a knight's helmet and shield, a phoenix, a garden gnome, a royal crown, a spell book, a bubbling potion and an enchanted forest lit by glowing mushrooms.
Are these scary?
No. The fire-breather and the phoenix are the most dramatic designs, and both are drawn as bold, friendly shapes rather than anything menacing. The hatchling, fairy, unicorn, elf, gnome and mermaid are all smiling kawaii characters. If you want something genuinely spooky, the Monster Bookmarks set is the one to reach for.
Which one uses the least ink?
Magic Potion is drawn as purple line art on near-white paper and costs very little to print. Fairy Door, Woodland Elf and Storybook Castle sit on pale grounds and are the next lightest. The night scenes (Castle by Moonlight, Enchanted Forest, Fire Breather, Phoenix Rising, The Wizard and Spell Book) have solid dark backgrounds and use the most. The ink-friendly badge in the builder marks the potion.
Can I put a child's name on each bookmark?
Yes. Every design leaves a clear band for a name, and you can type one per bookmark and choose where it sits. The name prints in the design's outline colour on a small white plate, so it stays readable over the dark skies and patterned grounds.
