Seventeen of the set are full colour — reds, pinks and cream with mint, lavender, gold and four deep grounds — and one, XOXO, is a clean line drawing on white for anyone printing a classroom's worth or handing out the crayons.

Can these stand in for classroom valentines?
That is what the name band is for. Type each classmate's name on a bookmark, mix the designs so no two neighbours match, print the small size on card stock and cut along the guides — one sheet covers a table group and the whole class takes a couple of sheets. Teddy with a Heart, Puppy Love, Candy Hearts, Cupid's Arrow, Cocoa for Two and Paper Heart Chain are the ones children pick first; Be Mine Banner and Valentine Mailbox suit the class party table.
Which ones use the least ink?
XOXO is a line drawing on white and costs very little to print. Candy Hearts, Be Mine Banner, Love Letter, Cocoa for Two, Paper Heart Chain and Valentine Mailbox sit on white or pale grounds and are the next lightest. Box of Chocolates, Red Roses, Key to My Heart and Tied with Love have solid dark grounds — cocoa, wine, navy and teal — and use the most. The ink-friendly badge in the builder marks the light one.
Are any of them right for a grown-up card?
Red Roses, Box of Chocolates, Key to My Heart, Love Letter and Tied with Love are drawn without the cartoon faces and read as a small gift on their own. Print one at the large size, put the name on it, and tuck it into the book you are giving.
Can I put a name on each bookmark?
Yes. Every design leaves a clear band for a name, and you can type one per bookmark and choose where it sits. The name prints in the design's outline colour on a small white plate, so it stays readable over the reds, the dark grounds and the heart fields.
