For perfect Avery alignment
In your printer dialog, set Scale = 100% (Actual Size), paper = US Letter, orientation = Portrait. Do not pick “Fit to Page” or “Shrink to Fit” — those scale the sheet by a few percent and throw off the cuts. How does 8471 relate to the standard 8371 box?
Same stock, bigger box: matte white 80 lb perforated Sure Feed sheets, inkjet-coated, 2″ × 3.5″ cards 10-up — but 1,000 cards on 100 sheets instead of 250 on 25. If you've printed 8371 before, nothing about the workflow changes except how long the box lasts.
A thousand inkjet cards — won't that burn through ink?
Text-forward cards sip ink; it's large solid-color logos that drink it. If you're printing the full box with a big colored logo, print a 10-sheet batch and check your cartridge level before committing the rest — or consider the no-logo layout, which uses the least ink of the four and looks sharpest on plain matte stock anyway.
Best way to run 100 sheets through an inkjet?
In batches. Load 20–25 sheets at a time (card stock is stiffer than paper and most inkjet trays feed it more reliably in smaller stacks), and give each output stack a couple of minutes before squaring it up so fresh ink doesn't offset onto the next sheet's back.
