Frequently asked questions

Which holidays are marked across the year?
The national public holidays observed across Malaysia — from Chinese New Year and Hari Raya Aidilfitri through Hari Kebangsaan, Hari Malaysia, Deepavali and Hari Krismas — including every replacement (ganti) day when one falls on a Sunday. State holidays aren't pre-printed: they differ across the 16 states and territories, so add yours to the fillable boxes.
What if next year's gazette isn't out yet?
The federal gazette for the coming year is usually published late in the year. Until then, a future-year calendar shows the rule-based holidays (Hari Pekerja, the Agong's birthday on the first Monday of June, Hari Kebangsaan, Hari Malaysia, Hari Krismas); the lunar-calendar holidays are added once gazetted — never estimated.
How do I plan long weekends with it?
The ganti days are the secret: when Aidilfitri, Wesak or Deepavali lands on a Sunday, the following working day is off too — in 2026 that produces runs like 20–23 March (four days) around Aidilfitri and 30 May – 2 June around Wesak and the Agong's birthday. Print the year, spot the clusters, apply leave accordingly.
How do I turn it into a year planner?
Generate the 12-page PDF, type recurring events into the date cells in any PDF viewer, then print and bind (staple, comb or ring). School terms, paydays, balik kampung plans — a personalised planner you can reprint any time.
What paper size does it use?
A4 and US Letter both print cleanly, one month per page, portrait.
Is it free?
Yes — completely free, no signup or watermark.
