Frequently asked questions
How does the Singapore tax year work?
Singapore taxes on a preceding-year basis: income you earn in the 2026 calendar year (the "basis period") is assessed in the Year of Assessment 2027 — with individual returns filed by 15 April (18 April via myTax Portal). So this January–December calendar is your basis year: what you earn across these 12 months becomes YA 2027's bill.
What are the colour-coded quarters?
Q1 Jan–Mar, Q2 Apr–Jun, Q3 Jul–Sep and Q4 Oct–Dec, each with a colour tag and legend — handy for GST-registered businesses (quarterly GST returns are due one month after each quarter ends) and for spotting how filing season lands against the holidays.
Are Singapore public holidays marked?
Yes — all 11 MOM-gazetted holidays plus the Monday-in-lieu days, straight from the official list. Useful when a deadline brushes against a long weekend.
Which languages are available?
All four official languages — English, Chinese (中文), Malay and Tamil. The month names, weekday headers, quarter legend and holiday names all print in the language you pick.
Can I print it for a different year?
Yes — set the start year in the generator to any year you need, with January preset as the start month. It prints on A4 or US Letter, landscape, one page.
