Scan the old photo at the highest setting your phone or scanner offers; the "then" window is small, but a sharp scan still beats a photo of a photo.
How it works

Open any design above in the maker. Drop a photo into the window and drag it until the face sits where you want it. Type the name, the age line, the date, time and place, and the RSVP; the back of the card updates with them. Pick one of the three palettes drawn for the design, then download a 5 x 7 PDF (front and back), a two-per-sheet letter PDF for home printing, print-shop PNGs with bleed, 4 x 6 PNGs for a photo counter, a phone-sized PNG, or a Word file.

Frequently asked questions
Do both photos need the same orientation?
No. Each window has its own cropper, so a square baby portrait and a wide recent snapshot both work.
Can I use only one photo?
Yes — the empty window prints as a light tint, which reads as intentional on Instant Pair.
