The breeds were picked for range — working dogs mid-job (the collie with her sheep, the Aussie clearing a creek), water dogs doing water-dog things, and the professional loungers (nobody has ever slept harder than that French bulldog). Five boards feature a feline co-star, because the corgi chasing leaves with a tuxedo cat is simply a better picture than either alone; those five also appear on the cat wall, and vice versa.

Difficulty tracks the setting more than the dog. The reading-room Frenchie and the rainy-park poodle are gentle starts; the husky's mirrored lake doubles every peak into the water, and the beagle is a brown dog in brown leaves — autumn camouflage is real.

Which dog puzzle should I start with?

My breed isn't here — will more dogs be added?
Yes — this collection is the first ten breeds plus five mixed boards, chosen for visual range: coat types from the poodle's curls to the husky's double coat, settings from surf to snow. More breeds join as new artwork lands. In the meantime, the closest thing to a puzzle of YOUR dog is a puzzle of your actual dog: the maker turns any photo into one in about thirty seconds.
Why do some dog puzzles have cats in them?
Because the mixed boards are the best pictures in the batch — a great dane letting an orange kitten win, a samoyed and a black cat splitting the sunset between them. Ten of the thirty pet boards pair a dog with a cat; each lives on one wall and guests on the other, so both collections show all the friendships. If it helps: the dog is always the bigger piece cluster.
Are these photos of real dogs?
They're photorealistic rendered artwork of real breeds — deliberately shot documentary-style, natural light and believable settings, then composed square for the puzzle table. Each puzzle page carries a one-line note saying exactly that. Breed features are portrayed true to life, which is why the wire-haired dachshund looks appropriately opinionated.
