Summer To-Do List Template
Twenty numbered lines for the things you actually want to do this summer \u2014 the beach day, the backyard camp-out, the library challenge \u2014 with a circle to fill beside each, a box for trips and dates, and a side list for the boring-but-necessary jobs before school starts. The printable PDF is the sunny hand-lettered version for the fridge; the Excel and Google Sheets versions count what is done and, if you type the first day of school, tell you how many days of summer are left.
The summer list, three ways.
Twenty on purpose.
A summer list with eight things gets finished by July and forgotten; a list with fifty is a chore. Twenty is enough that there is always something to pick on a slow Tuesday and few enough that most of them happen. Mix free things with the big trip so the list is not a spending plan.
Keep the finished page. A stack of summer lists from past years is one of the better family records there is.
