Which holiday word list to print, and when
Word bingo is the plain-paper cousin of the illustrated kits: no artwork in the cells, just the word in a colored frame, so a class set photocopies in black and white and doubles as a vocabulary round. The five lists below are the ones teachers and room parents ask for most. Each holds 32 words, which is enough that a four-card sheet never repeats a board.
- Christmas works best for the last day before winter break, when the class has already watched the movie. Default frame: green.
- Halloween works best for the costume-parade afternoon and the trunk-or-treat table. Default frame: orange.
- Easter works best for Sunday school and the twenty minutes after the egg hunt. Default frame: purple.
- Thanksgiving works best for the kids' table while the bird rests. Default frame: maroon.
- Valentine's Day works best for the card exchange, once the envelopes are handed out. Default frame: red.

Running a word bingo round in a classroom or at the table
Print the cards at four per page for a class, cut, and hand one to each player with a handful of markers (candy corn, jelly beans and conversation hearts are the seasonal standbys). Download the call sheet: it lists every word on one page so the caller can read in any order and cross words off as they go. First to five in a row, any direction, wins; a blackout round covers the whole card and runs about three times as long.
Pre-readers can play too. The lists lean on short concrete words (Egg, Bat, Star, Corn), so a kindergartener matches most of them by shape, and a buddy reads the longer ones. For older grades, call the definition instead of the word and it becomes a vocabulary review that nobody notices is a worksheet.

How is word bingo different from the picture kits?
The picture kits print an emoji-style illustration in every cell with the word underneath, plus cut-out calling cards. Word bingo prints the word alone, in a plain frame, in any of ten colors. It photocopies cleanly in black and white, works for spelling and vocabulary practice, and uses no ink on artwork.
Do long words like Mashed Potato fit in the small cells?
Yes. Every word is measured against its cell and shrunk or wrapped onto two or three lines until it clears the cell border with a margin on each side. The on-screen sample uses the same measuring rule as the PDF, so what you see is what prints.
Can I edit the word list?
Yes. Click Custom under the holiday picker and the list opens as a text box: add Bible-story words for Sunday school, delete anything you do not want called, or paste an entirely new list of 30 or more words. The generator then draws cards from your list.
How many cards do I need for a class of 25?
Seven sheets at four per page, or 13 at two per page. Set the page count in the generator and it prints that many sheets, every card different. Print the call sheet once for the teacher.
