Frequently asked questions
Which holidays are marked?
India's three fixed national holidays — Republic Day (26 January), Independence Day (15 August) and Gandhi Jayanti (2 October) — which are observed across the whole country. The many festival and regional holidays (Diwali, Holi, Eid, Pongal, Onam and so on) follow lunar calendars, change every year and differ by state, so we leave those for you to type into the fillable boxes for your region.
Is the calendar available in Hindi and other Indian languages?
Yes — pick your language from the dropdown before you generate. Alongside English we support Hindi (हिन्दी), Marathi (मराठी), Tamil (தமிழ்), Telugu (తెలుగు), Bengali (বাংলা), Gujarati (ગુજરાતી), Kannada (ಕನ್ನಡ), Malayalam (മലയാളം), Punjabi (ਪੰਜਾਬੀ) and Odia (ଓଡ଼ିଆ). The month names, weekday headers and the national-holiday names are all printed in the language you choose. The dates themselves stay in standard numerals so the calendar is easy to share.
Can I type events straight into the PDF?
Yes. Open it in Adobe Reader, Preview, Chrome, Firefox or any mobile PDF viewer, click a date and the box becomes a text field. Type your event, then save — no paid software needed.
What paper size does it use?
It prints cleanly on both A4 and US Letter, so any printer in India works. Choose portrait or landscape before generating.
Is it free?
Yes — free for personal, family, school or office use, no signup, no watermark. Print as many as you like.
