South African calendars — FAQs
Which South African holidays do the calendars mark?
All twelve public holidays under the Public Holidays Act — New Year's Day, Human Rights Day, Good Friday, Family Day, Freedom Day, Workers' Day, Youth Day, National Women's Day, Heritage Day, Day of Reconciliation, Christmas Day and Day of Goodwill — plus the observed Monday whenever one falls on a Sunday.
Why does the tax year calendar run March to February?
That's the SARS year of assessment for individuals — the cycle behind PAYE, IRP5s, provisional tax and filing season. The government's own budget year runs April–March, and companies use their own year-ends, but Mar–Feb is the year that matters for personal tax.
Are these free?
Yes — every South African calendar here is free, printable and fillable in any PDF viewer. No signup.
