UK calendars — FAQs
Can I pick England & Wales, Scotland or Northern Ireland?
Yes. Both event calendars default to England & Wales and have a dropdown to switch to Scotland or Northern Ireland — each shows exactly that nation's bank holidays. There's also a “UK-wide bank holidays only” option for the six holidays shared by all three nations.
Are substitute (Mondayised) days handled correctly?
Yes — when a fixed-date bank holiday such as Christmas, Boxing Day or New Year's Day falls on a weekend, the calendar adds the substitute weekday, including the Christmas/Boxing cascade to Monday and Tuesday. The dates were validated against the official gov.uk bank-holiday data.
Are these free?
Yes — every UK calendar here is free, printable and fillable in any PDF viewer. No signup.
