Hosting tip
If December was too full for a holiday party, hold it in January and call it a kickoff. Venues are easier to book once the holidays are over, everyone is back in the office, and a toast to the new year fits every team.
How it works

Details, wording, colors, download

Open any design above in the maker. Type the hosts, the date badge and the address; the back has room for the line that sets the night up, whether that is the countdown time, a costume or decade theme, a game to bring or a plus-one policy. The wording ideas under the note field have funny and countdown lines ready.

Pick one of the three palettes drawn for the design, then download a 5 x 7 PDF (front and back), a two-per-sheet letter PDF for home printing, print-shop PNGs with bleed, 4 x 6 PNGs for a photo counter, a phone-sized PNG or a Word file. For more lines to put on the card, see the New Year’s invitation wording ideas.

Frequently asked questions

How should an office New Year party invitation be worded?
Company name, date, time and place, the RSVP name and deadline, and one line answering the usual questions. The samples use "Business casual · Plus-ones welcome" and "Business casual · Bites & bubbly provided".
Can I send it in an email to employees?
Yes. Attach the phone-sized PNG, and paste the date, place and RSVP into the body of the email so people can search for it later. There is also a Word file if the office prefers a document.
