Tea Party Bridal Shower Invitations

Three tea party bridal shower invitations: Teapot & Roses, a teapot and teacups with roses under Tea for the Bride-to-Be; Tiered Tea Stand, a stand of petit fours under Bridal Tea Party; and Wonderland Tea, an original whimsical tea party with teapots, a pocket watch and playing-card florals under A Whimsical Bridal Tea, with "Don't be late for tea" on the back. Teapot & Roses opens in Lavender Fields, Tiered Tea Stand in Sage Garden and Wonderland Tea in Royal Navy, with Blush Rose, Burgundy and Lavender Fields among the presets.

Hosting tip

If the card says "Hats and gloves encouraged", as Teapot & Roses does, keep a basket of borrowed hats by the door for the guests who don't own one. Nobody feels underdressed, and the hats end up in every photo.

How it works

Details, wording, colors, download

Open any design above in the maker. Type the bride's name, the date and the place; the badge can carry the format (Bridal Brunch, Afternoon Tea, Around the Clock) instead of the date, and the back has room for the line the theme needs, from the mimosa bar's opening time to lingerie sizes or a recipe to bring.

Pick one of the three palettes drawn for the design, then download a 5 x 7 PDF (front and back), a two-per-sheet letter PDF for home printing, print-shop PNGs with bleed, 4 x 6 PNGs for a photo counter, a phone-sized PNG to text or email, or a Word file. For more lines to put on the card, see the bridal shower invitation wording ideas and the etiquette guide.

Frequently asked questions

Is it afternoon tea or high tea?

What most showers serve, sandwiches, scones and small sweets, is afternoon tea; high tea was originally a heartier evening meal. Many people use the two interchangeably. Tiered Tea Stand carries an Afternoon Tea badge and "Tea, scones and sweets" on the back; type High Tea if that's what your guests will look for.

Is Wonderland Tea from a film?

No. It's an original drawing of a whimsical tea party, with teapots, a pocket watch and playing cards, not any studio's characters, so it's fine to print and share.
