Christmas Pajama Party Invitations

Christmas pajama party invitations for grown-ups and older kids: Flannel Night with plaid flannel and a moon, Snapshot PJs with a photo window and handwritten lettering on plaid, and Slippers with a pair of pom-pom slippers. Type who's hosting and the dress rule, add a photo to Snapshot PJs if you like, and download a PDF to print or a PNG to text.

Hosting tip

If guests are staying over, say so and say what to bring (a sleeping bag, a pillow). "PJs required" on its own reads as an evening party, and people will plan to drive home.

How it works

Details, wording, colors, download

Open any design above in the maker. One of these designs has a photo window: drop in a picture and drag it until it sits where you want it. Type the hosts, the date badge and the address; the back has room for the rule that makes the night work, whether that is a gift limit, a voting time or the sweater requirement. The wording ideas under the note field have a funny line or two ready.

Pick one of the three palettes drawn for the design, then download a 5 x 7 PDF (front and back), a two-per-sheet letter PDF for home printing, print-shop PNGs with bleed, 4 x 6 PNGs for a photo counter, a phone-sized PNG or a Word file. For more lines to put on the card, see the Christmas party invitation wording ideas.

Frequently asked questions

Is there a pajama party invitation with a photo?

Snapshot PJs has a photo window. A picture of the group in last year's pajamas works well; drag and zoom it to fit.

What's good pajama party wording for adults?

Keep the dress rule short and literal: the samples say "PJs required · Slippers encouraged" and "Slippers required". If there's a prize for matching sets or a gift swap, add it to the back note.
