New Year's Eve Dinner Party Invitations

New Year's Eve dinner party invitations for a seated meal: Candlelight Table with a single taper candle in warm gold under New Year's Dinner Party, and Place Setting with a plate and flatware in slate and gold under A New Year's Eve Supper. Both badges read Seated at 8, with the arrival time on the back. Type the hosts, the menu note and the dress code, and print on good card stock.

Hosting tip
Dinner is over long before midnight, so plan the night in two halves: courses from eight, then a cheese plate or dessert around 11:30 to carry the table to the countdown. Mention the late course on the card so nobody heads home after coffee.
How it works

Details, wording, colors, download

Open any design above in the maker. Type your names or your host as it should read on a formal card, the date badge and the venue; the back carries the details again with one line for the dress code, a midnight toast or, for a wedding, the reception. Gold and deco designs keep their look in every palette, all printed on light paper.

Pick one of the three palettes drawn for the design, then download a 5 x 7 PDF (front and back), a two-per-sheet letter PDF for home printing, print-shop PNGs with bleed, 4 x 6 PNGs for a photo counter, a phone-sized PNG or a Word file. For more lines to put on the card, see the New Year’s invitation wording ideas.

Frequently asked questions

Why does the badge say Seated at 8 when the party starts earlier?
A dinner has two times: when to arrive and when the first course is served. The samples give arrival on the back (7:30 PM and 7:00 PM) and seating in the badge, so a late guest knows exactly what they'd miss.
How do I mention a long menu or wine pairings?
Briefly, in the back note: "Seven courses · Cocktail attire" on Candlelight Table and "Wine pairing with each course" on Place Setting. Ask about dietary needs on the RSVP line, since a set menu is planned days ahead.
