Simple To-Do List Template
Three columns and twenty-four lines. No priorities, no statuses, no schedule \u2014 a box to tick, room to write the task, and a notes column for the phone number or the aisle. This is the list for people who searched for a simple or blank to-do list and meant it. The Excel and Google Sheets versions add exactly one thing: a line at the bottom that reads 3 of 5 done, kept by the sheet.
The simple list, three ways.
Simple is a feature, not a lack of one.
Most abandoned to-do systems died of columns. Every added field is a small tax on writing a task down, and the tax is paid at exactly the moment the task is on your mind and the pen is not. A three-column list gets written; a nine-column list gets postponed until the weekend and then forgotten.
If you need more structure later, it is one page away — the daily list adds priorities and a schedule, the checklist adds sections, the standard list adds status and due dates. Start here and graduate only when the plain list stops being enough.
