Hot Cocoa Christmas Party Invitations

Hot cocoa Christmas party invitations for a cozy afternoon or a cabin night: Marshmallow Mug with a mug of cocoa, marshmallows and a candy cane, and Candy Cane Lane with two mugs and script lettering over candy stripes. Both headlines read Cocoa & PJs, so pajamas come with the invitation. Type the host and place, list the toppings on the back, and print or text.

Hosting tip

Ask everyone to bring their favorite mug, as the Marshmallow Mug sample does. It saves on dishes, and the mugs people choose are a conversation starter on their own.

How it works

Details, wording, colors, download

Open any design above in the maker. Type the hosts, the date badge and the address; the back has room for the rule that makes the night work, whether that is a gift limit, a voting time or the sweater requirement. The wording ideas under the note field have a funny line or two ready.

Pick one of the three palettes drawn for the design, then download a 5 x 7 PDF (front and back), a two-per-sheet letter PDF for home printing, print-shop PNGs with bleed, 4 x 6 PNGs for a photo counter, a phone-sized PNG or a Word file. For more lines to put on the card, see the Christmas party invitation wording ideas.

Frequently asked questions

Is a cocoa party for kids or adults?

Either. The samples are an aunt's front porch and a cabin full of friends. For a grown-up version, add "Spiked cocoa for the adults" to the back note.

How do I set up a cocoa bar?

Keep a big batch warm in a slow cooker and set toppings out in bowls: marshmallows, crushed candy canes, whipped cream, chocolate chips. Mention it on the card (the Candy Cane Lane sample reads "Cocoa bar & toppings") so guests come ready.
