Cookie Decorating Party Invitations

Christmas cookie decorating party invitations for an afternoon of icing and sprinkles: Piping Bag with an icing bag and a gingerbread buddy on the back, and Cutter Shapes with a photo window among cookie-cutter shapes. Both are drawn for families with kids. Type the host, the kitchen and what you're providing, and print.

Hosting tip
Bake and cool the cookies the day before, and mix the icing in squeeze bottles rather than piping bags for small hands. Then the party is all decorating and no waiting.
How it works

Details, wording, colors, download

Open any design above in the maker. One of these designs has a photo window: drop in a picture and drag it until it sits where you want it. Type the family or your names as hosts, the date and the address; the back carries the details and one practical line: what to bring, whether kids are welcome, the hours for an open house. The wording ideas list has family and food lines ready to drop in.

Pick one of the three palettes drawn for the design, then download a 5 x 7 PDF (front and back), a two-per-sheet letter PDF for home printing, print-shop PNGs with bleed, 4 x 6 PNGs for a photo counter, a phone-sized PNG or a Word file. For more lines to put on the card, see the Christmas party invitation wording ideas.

Frequently asked questions

What should a cookie decorating invitation say?
When and where, and what you're supplying so parents don't pack it: the samples say "Aprons provided" and "Sprinkles provided", plus "Kids welcome". Add a line if guests should bring a container to carry cookies home.
Is this the same as a cookie exchange?
No. Here guests decorate cookies you've baked; at an exchange they bring their own batch to trade. The Cookie Exchange family has the two-dozen wording for that.
