Frequently asked questions
Who usually hosts an engagement party?
Traditionally the bride's parents, but today it is just as often the couple, both families together, or close friends. Put the hosts on the back of the card, for example "Hosted by the Bennett and Carter families", so guests know whom to thank and to RSVP to.
Can I add our engagement photo?
Yes, on We're Engaged (a polaroid-style window) and the lovebirds design with the frame. The floral, rustic, ceremony and party-style doors have more photo designs.
Are gifts expected at an engagement party?
Usually not, and many invitations say so. A line such as "No gifts, just your company" fits on the back of any design; the wording page has more.
