Where do I start?

Is it ping pong or table tennis?
Same game. Table tennis is the sport's official name — the ITTF and USA Table Tennis run it, and it has been in the Olympics since 1988 — and ping pong is what most people call it at home. The pages here use both; the rules are identical.
