Friendsmas Party Invitations

Friendsmas party invitations for Christmas with the friends you chose: String Lights with hand lettering under a strand of bulbs, and Light Frame with script inside a border of lights. Both are casual, for an apartment potluck, a gift swap or a night before everyone flies home. Type the crew's names, the place and what to bring, and text the PNG to the group chat.

Hosting tip

If it's potluck, say what's already covered ("Main and drinks on us") so friends know what's left to bring. The Light Frame sample keeps it to "Potluck style · BYO favorite drink".

How it works

Details, wording, colors, download

Open any design above in the maker. Type the family or your names as hosts, the date and the address; the back carries the details and one practical line: what to bring, whether kids are welcome, the hours for an open house. The wording ideas list has family and food lines ready to drop in.

Pick one of the three palettes drawn for the design, then download a 5 x 7 PDF (front and back), a two-per-sheet letter PDF for home printing, print-shop PNGs with bleed, 4 x 6 PNGs for a photo counter, a phone-sized PNG or a Word file. For more lines to put on the card, see the Christmas party invitation wording ideas.

Frequently asked questions

What is a Friendsmas party?

A Christmas party for friends rather than family, often potluck and often held before people travel home for the holiday. The headline is editable, so call it whatever your group calls it.

Can I add a gift swap?

Yes. The String Lights sample puts "Bring a snack · Swap at 9" on the back; add the price limit to the same line.
