Common questions
Why is there no company name on this one?
Because a logo usually already contains the name, and setting it twice — once as artwork, once as text — is the most common way a letterhead starts to look homemade. If your logo is a symbol with no wordmark in it, use the centered layout instead, which keeps a name line under the mark.
What logo shape works best in the corner?
A horizontal lockup — wordmark, or a mark sitting beside a wordmark. The frame is roughly 2.3:1, so a wide logo fills it naturally. A tall or square logo still works, it just sits smaller because it has to fit the frame's height.
Will my logo be stored on your servers?
Word downloads are built on the fly and nothing is kept. Google Docs copies are created as temporary documents so the copy link works, then cleaned up on a schedule — the copy in your own Google account is permanently yours.
Can I move the logo to the right instead?
