Burgundy & Gold Monogram Letterhead

A wine-and-gold double ring with your church’s initial at the centre, above the church name and a gold Soli Deo Gloria rule. This replaced the fixed Chi-Rho that used to sit here — a christogram says something a given congregation may not mean, where an initial is simply yours.

Who this monogram letterhead is for

Parish offices, chaplaincies and church schools that write to families rather than to donors — the sort of letter that goes home in a bag. The wine-and-gold ring reads as liturgical without committing to a symbol a particular congregation may not use, which is exactly why it replaced the fixed Chi-Rho that once sat here. Set the initial to the church’s name or the patron saint, keep the ink dark, and the sheet will sit comfortably beside the rest of your printed material.

Every element around the ring — the church name, the Soli Deo Gloria rule, the address block — stays editable text, so a new rector or a changed telephone number is a two-minute edit rather than a reprint.

Specifications: US Letter, 8.5 × 11 inches, portrait. The Word download is a .dotx template with the artwork embedded at print resolution; it opens in Word 2007 through Microsoft 365, including Word for Mac. The Google Docs button opens a copy in your own Drive. One page, fully editable, free — no account and no watermark.

Why bake the crest in? The two rings and the letter have to sit in exact relation — a hand-inserted character drifts with every font change. We render the full crest as one precision graphic, gold ring included, so it always sits exactly right.
