Square Monogram Maker

One, two, or three initials knocked out in white on a solid tile, top-left of a development-portfolio letterhead. Pick the letters, the face, the size and the tile color, and download it ready to write.

Every other monogram in this collection is a drawn outline — a ring, a shield, a hairline rule — that takes your ink. This one inverts that: the ground carries the color and the letters stay white. It is the most modern mark of the set, and the only one that reads as a logo rather than as stationery.

Common questions

Why can I only change the tile color, not the letter color?

White type knocked out of a solid ground is what gives a block monogram its punch — it is the whole idea of the mark. Any two colors close in value would also make it unreadable. So the letters stay white and the color control drives the tile.

How many initials can I use?

One, two, or three. The type sizes itself down as you add letters so the mark always sits inside the tile with room to breathe.

Is this only for property developers?

No. The project columns are written for a development firm because that is the letterhead the tile lives on, but every line is editable — it suits studios, agencies, and contractors just as well.
