What the daily sadistic sudoku asks of you
Sadistic exists because a few solvers asked for something past Expert. The engine takes an expert-grade puzzle and keeps removing givens while the solution stays unique, which lengthens every chain and removes the easy openings. Expect twenty-two or fewer givens, an hour or more, and a grid where the first placement may take ten minutes on its own.
The single-solution guarantee still holds, so a contradiction always means the assumption was wrong, never that the puzzle is broken. The Expert line is the sane version of the same morning; the classic generator prints Sadistic on demand if one a day is not enough.
