When to host Spring bunco
Spring bunco is the first night of the year most groups host with the windows open. The plum-and-sage kit is built for March through May: garden-club nights, porch parties, and the first game after the winter break. A tulip sits in the corner of every piece.
Print the invitations three weeks out; spring calendars fill fast with sports and graduations. Low centerpieces, iced tea, and three sets is the usual shape of the evening.

Are these themed templates really free?

Do I need special software to use them?
No. Each template is a standard PDF that opens and prints in any browser, Acrobat Reader, or macOS Preview. The score card, table tally, and invitations are also fillable — type into the fields in any PDF reader before printing.
Can I play bunco with fewer than 12 players?
Yes — 8 or 11 players are common variations. With 11, the empty seat uses the Ghost Card (included in this kit) so the rotation still works. With 8, drop one of the three tables and rotate between just two.
Indoor or outdoor bunco for spring?
Indoors is safer for dice + cards (wind picks them up surprisingly easily). A covered porch or patio works in mild weather — bring something to weight the score cards. Skip the lawn unless it's flat and there's no breeze.
Pastel cocktails to match the kit?
A French 75 (with a splash of grenadine for pink), elderflower spritz, or rosé spritz keeps the spring mood. Mocktails: pink lemonade with mint, or a strawberry-basil sparkling water.
What about flowers / centerpieces?
A low arrangement (under 6 inches tall) keeps sight-lines clear across the table. Tulips in a mason jar or a single hyacinth stem hits the spring note without crowding the dice. Skip tall arrangements — bunco needs the table real estate.
