Reading the sheet

How the bunco table tally works

Us and Them, four sets across

Each set gets an Us column and a Them column. Us is the pair keeping the sheet; Them is the pair across the table. The columns are tinted differently so a glance shows who is ahead.

Six rounds down, with the die you roll for

Row R1 shows a one-pip die, R6 a six-pip die: that is the target number for the round. Write the running points as the dice go around. A BUNCO is 21 in one go, so the row can jump.

Set totals and the game total

The bottom of each set has a total box; the game total band adds all four. Most groups only need the per-round comparison to award wins and losses, but the totals settle ties and make a nice bragging number.

Why four sets on one sheet

Most kits print a single-set tally, which means twelve sheets across a four-set night. Ours puts the whole night on one half-sheet per table: three sheets total, less paper, and nobody hunting for the set 3 tally when the bell rings.

Bunco tally sheets, frequently asked

How many bunco table tally sheets do I need?
One per table per night. A standard 12-player game is three tables, so print two sheets of the 2-per-page PDF and you have a spare. Because all four sets fit on one tally, you don't swap sheets between sets.
What do Us and Them mean on a bunco tally sheet?
Us is the pair keeping the tally; Them is the other pair at the same table. During each round the scorekeeper writes the running points in the round's row: every die matching the round number is 1 point, three of a kind of the round number is a 21-point BUNCO, three of a kind of anything else is a 5-point baby bunco. When the bell rings, the higher number in that row wins the round.
Who keeps the table tally?
One player at each table, usually whoever sits closest to the sheet. Partners rotate every round, so the job naturally passes around. The head table's scorekeeper also watches for 21 and rings the bell.
Is there a bunco tally sheet without mini bunco?
This one. The table tally records points only; BUNCOs and baby buncos are counted on each player's personal score card, not on the table sheet. If your house rules don't score baby buncos at all, nothing on the tally changes.
Does the tally cover 6 rounds and 4 sets?
Yes: six round rows, each marked with the die face you're rolling for, under four set columns split into Us and Them. The set totals and the game total band sit at the bottom, so a whole night's table lives on one half-sheet.
What's the difference between the table tally and the score card?
The tally is shared and stays at the table; it tracks points during rounds. The score card is personal and moves with the player; it tracks wins, losses, BUNCOs and baby buncos across the night and is what prizes are awarded from. Print both.
