Hosting tip
Assemble a baked French toast or an egg casserole on New Year's Eve and refrigerate it overnight. In the morning it goes straight into the oven, and the host sleeps in as late as the guests.
How it works

Details, wording, colors, download

Open any design above in the maker. Type the family, the church or your names as hosts, the day and the hours; an open house puts its time range on the RSVP line. The back carries one practical line: what to bring, whether kids are welcome, parking, or the time a Noon Year's Eve countdown starts.

Pick one of the three palettes drawn for the design, then download a 5 x 7 PDF (front and back), a two-per-sheet letter PDF for home printing, print-shop PNGs with bleed, 4 x 6 PNGs for a photo counter, a phone-sized PNG or a Word file. For more lines to put on the card, see the New Year’s invitation wording ideas.

Frequently asked questions

What time should a New Year's Day brunch start?
Late enough for the people who saw midnight: the samples use 10 and 11 AM. If your crowd went to bed at two, noon is still brunch.
Can guests come in pajamas?
If you say so. The Mimosa Morning sample reads "Mimosas & pajamas welcome" and Pancake Stack reads "Pancakes, coffee & cozy socks"; either sets a relaxed tone in one line.
