Christmas and New Year Party Invitations

Christmas and New Year party invitations for one party that covers the season: Holly & Confetti with a confetti wreath and holly under MERRY & BRIGHT, and Season Photo with a family photo framed by holly sprigs and confetti. The samples fall on Saturday, Dec 26 and Saturday, Jan 2, the weekends on either side of New Year's. Type the family, the date and the note, add a photo to Season Photo, and download.

Hosting tip
Aim for the week between Christmas and New Year's Day, when college kids are home and most offices are quiet. Saturday, Dec 26 catches people before they travel again; Saturday, Jan 2 catches the ones who were away for Christmas.
How it works

Details, wording, colors, download

Open any design above in the maker. One of these designs has a photo window: drop in a picture and drag it until it sits where you want it. Type the family, the church or your names as hosts, the day and the hours; an open house puts its time range on the RSVP line. The back carries one practical line: what to bring, whether kids are welcome, parking, or the time a Noon Year's Eve countdown starts.

Pick one of the three palettes drawn for the design, then download a 5 x 7 PDF (front and back), a two-per-sheet letter PDF for home printing, print-shop PNGs with bleed, 4 x 6 PNGs for a photo counter, a phone-sized PNG or a Word file. For more lines to put on the card, see the New Year’s invitation wording ideas.

Frequently asked questions

What should a combined Christmas and New Year invitation say?
That it's one party for both, so nobody waits for a second invitation. The Season Photo sample's note reads "One party for the whole season", and Holly & Confetti welcomes both kinds of dress-up: "Ugly sweaters & party hats welcome".
Can it double as our holiday card?
Season Photo can. It carries a family photo on the front and the party on the back, so one mailing does both jobs. Mail the 5 x 7 or print the 4 x 6 PNG at a photo counter.
