Cozy New Year's Eve Night In Invitations

Cozy New Year's Eve invitations for a small night in: Fireside with a fireplace, a mantel clock and string lights under A Cozy New Year's Eve, and Movie Night In with a popcorn bucket and a film strip. The samples are an apartment party with blankets provided and a family den with the film at 8. Type the hosts and the plan, and text the PNG to the few people coming.

Hosting tip
Time the movie so it ends before the countdown. A film that starts at 8, as on the Movie Night In sample, leaves room for a second short one or a round of cards; aim to finish around 11:45, then switch over for midnight.
How it works

Details, wording, colors, download

Open any design above in the maker. Type the family, the church or your names as hosts, the day and the hours; an open house puts its time range on the RSVP line. The back carries one practical line: what to bring, whether kids are welcome, parking, or the time a Noon Year's Eve countdown starts.

Pick one of the three palettes drawn for the design, then download a 5 x 7 PDF (front and back), a two-per-sheet letter PDF for home printing, print-shop PNGs with bleed, 4 x 6 PNGs for a photo counter, a phone-sized PNG or a Word file. For more lines to put on the card, see the New Year’s invitation wording ideas.

Frequently asked questions

How do I word an invitation for a pajama night in?
Say it plainly. The Fireside sample reads "Pajamas required · Blankets provided" and Movie Night In reads "Pajamas & blankets encouraged". Required makes pajamas the theme; encouraged leaves it up to the guest.
Can I put the movie title on the card?
Yes, in the back note or the headline. The Movie Night In badge reads THURSDAY · FILM AT 8, so guests know the start time even if they skip the snacks.
