Vietnamese Wedding Invitations

The Lotus design is bilingual: the front of the invitation is in Vietnamese, the back carries the same invitation in English inside a band of lotus pattern. It opens in Red & Gold, with Blush & Gold and Ivory & Gold as the other palettes. The Vietnamese side names both sets of parents with their home addresses, as many Vietnamese invitations do, and opens "TRÂN TRỌNG BÁO TIN LỄ THÀNH HÔN"; the English side lists the tea ceremony at ten and the reception at six.

Planning tip
If older relatives will read the Vietnamese side, have a family member check the diacritics on every name before you print; the type sets them exactly as you enter them.
How it works

Names, wording, colors, download

Open a design above in the maker. Type both names, the date and time, the venue and the city once, and the suite fills in. Ceremonial lines on these designs are switched on or off in the maker and print exactly as written; bilingual backs, events cards and sponsors cards are edited line by line.

Choose one of the three palettes drawn for the design, then download the whole suite as Letter or A4 sheets with crop marks, any single card as a PDF, print-shop PNGs with bleed, a Word file, or a phone-sized picture of the invitation to text. For the words, see the wedding invitation wording guide; for envelopes and timing, the wedding invitation etiquette guide.

Frequently asked questions

Can I turn off the double happiness symbol?
Yes. The 囍 character is a switchable line that starts switched on; turn it off and the rest of the card stays in place. It prints exactly as written.
Do I have to fill in both languages?
The two sides are separate text, so you type each one. Keep the date and times the same on both, since guests may read either side.
