19 Printable Blank Invoice Templates

Every invoice in the library as a blank, print-ready PDF \u2014 for the clipboard in the truck, the counter at the shop, and every business where the bill is written where the work happened. US Letter, no watermark, no signup. Print a stack, write the job, hand over the customer copy. The write-in total boxes keep the arithmetic honest at the bottom right.

The fleet

Nineteen invoices for the clipboard.

Why paper

Billing that happens where the work happens.

A written invoice handed over at the job site gets paid faster than one emailed “when I get to the office” — the work is fresh, the customer is standing there, and the document is in their hand. That’s why the trades run on paper invoices decades into the spreadsheet era. The blank PDF is the lowest-friction billing system there is: printer, clipboard, pen.

The write-in summary boxes at the bottom right of each sheet — subtotal, fees, tax, total — walk the same math the spreadsheet versions compute, in the same order. When the business grows into typed billing, the Excel and Sheets versions of the identical layout are waiting, and the paper habit transfers without relearning anything.

Frequently asked questions

What's the best way to print a working stack?
Print 20 at a time, single-sided, on ordinary paper — these are working documents, not keepsakes. If you hand-write duplicates, office stores sell carbonless (NCR) paper that runs through a laser printer; print the template once onto a 2-part set and you get a customer copy and a file copy from one writing.
Which of the nineteen should a trade business keep in the truck?
The one shaped like your billing: the auto repair, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and handyman versions have separate parts and labor sections plus fee lines, while the simple and service versions are the generalists. Nothing stops you carrying two — jobs come in more than one shape.
Are these actually blank — no watermark, no sample data?
Blank means blank: empty fields, empty rows, empty total boxes, and a one-line footer crediting the source. No watermark, no “TRIAL” diagonal, no pre-filled company name to scribble out. What you print is what your customer sees.
Can I fill these on a computer instead of by hand?
These PDFs are built for pen — for typing, use the same template's Word or Google Docs version and export your own PDF, or the Excel and Sheets versions when you want totals computed. Every card on this page has those siblings one click away on its own page.
