December uses

Christmas sudoku as a place setting, a stocking filler and a long-flight puzzle

Modern Noël at one per page, folded once, is the place-setting version: a name written on the back, the answer key kept in the kitchen, and a table of adults occupied while the roast rests. Cozy Cabin does the same job for a family that leans rustic, and it sits happily next to the Christmas bingo cards, which use the same plaid.

Candy Cane is the stocking filler. Print it at Beginner or Easy, roll it with a pencil, and it is the cheapest thing in the stocking that gets used. The same sheets travel well: a few Medium pages in a coat pocket cover an airport delay better than a phone with a dying battery does.

Questions

Christmas sudoku questions

Which Christmas style is best for a place setting?
Modern Noël. The sage and gold reads formal, the title is small, and at one per page it folds cleanly into a tent card. Cozy Cabin suits a farmhouse table; Candy Cane belongs at the kids' end.
Can I print Christmas sudoku for a whole classroom before break?
Yes, free, no signup or watermark. Candy Cane at Easy with the answer key printed once for the teacher is the usual class set; two per page halves the paper.
Does the plaid border use a lot of ink?
Cozy Cabin is the heaviest of the three but still a thin border, not a full bleed. Modern Noël is the lightest. All three print acceptably on a mono laser if colour is not available.
Are the Christmas puzzles easier because they are festive?
No. The puzzle is the same technique-graded 9×9 the plain generator makes; Expert here is the same Expert as anywhere on this site. Pick the difficulty for the solver, not the occasion.
Do these match the Christmas bingo and gift certificates?
The three styles were drawn alongside the Christmas bingo set on this site, so a games table can run both on matching paper. The gift certificates use their own designs.
