Six-per-page sudoku generator
Preset to six per page and four pages, so one click is a 24-puzzle batch. Switch difficulty at the top; drop to 4, 2 or 1 per page when you want bigger cells.
Every puzzle is checked for a single unique solution before it prints. Difficulty is graded by the hardest human technique the puzzle actually requires — not by clue count. No signup, no email, no watermark.

How big the cells are at 6, 4, 2 and 1 per page
Six per page puts each 9×9 grid at roughly 2.4 inches square on US Letter, which is a pencil-and-good-eyesight size: fine for singles-only easy and medium puzzles, tight once you are writing candidates. Four per page grows the grid to about 3.4 inches, two per page to nearly 4.5, and one per page fills the sheet. The generator switches between all four without changing the puzzles.
The packs stay six per page because that is what people ask for: a classroom set on four sheets, a waiting-room stack, a trip's worth in a folder. Print double-sided and a 24-puzzle pack is two pieces of paper. Answer keys always print on their own pages so a puzzle sheet never shows its solution on the back.
| Per page | Grid size (approx.) | Best for |
|---|---|---|
| 6 | 2.4 in | Easy and medium, class sets, travel |
| 4 | 3.4 in | General practice, pencil marks in a pinch |
| 2 | 4.5 in | Hard and expert with full candidates |
| 1 | 7 in, large print | Low vision, pen solvers, the daily edition |
Six per page for kids, blanks and Excel
The same six-up density exists across the section. The blank sudoku templates include an empty six-per-page sheet in Letter and A4 for writing puzzles in by hand, the Excel templates include a six-per-page workbook, and the kids generator prints 4×4 grids four to a page, which is the equivalent density for small hands.
If six per page is too small for the solver in front of you, the large print sudoku page goes the other way: one big grid per sheet, with a daily edition already laid out that way.
Every printable sudoku on this site
Every sudoku template on this site prints the same technique-graded 9×9 puzzle — only the frame around it changes. Pick the one that matches the occasion, or start from a blank sudoku template and write your own.
