Vintage Sudoku

The full 9×9 puzzle, wrapped in a retro card — Retro Diner, Art Deco, or Letterpress. Same single-solution engine and real, technique-graded difficulty as the plain generator; it just looks the part. Our first stylized sudoku for grown-ups.

Why a stylized version

A puzzle worth leaving on the table.

1
Same engine, dressed up.

The sudoku is the exact full-9×9, single-solution-verified puzzle the plain generator makes — the vintage card is only a frame and never changes the difficulty.

2
Three eras, one set.

Retro Diner, Art Deco, and Letterpress reuse our Bingo Vintage palette, so a vintage sudoku sits next to vintage bingo on the same table without clashing.

3
Made to be seen.

Big, calm layout — nice for a dinner-party puzzle, a framed gift, a café table tent, or a quiet hour on a flight.

4
Plain is always there.

Doing a stack for daily practice? The plain classic generator prints the same quality up to six per page, with a large-print option.

Good to know

Vintage sudoku FAQ.

What are the three styles?

Retro Diner (cream and red, a 1952 malt-shop feel), Art Deco (parchment with triple gold borders, a 1920s club look), and Letterpress (aged paper, pressed type, an old print-shop feel). They share the look of our Bingo Vintage cards, so a games table coordinates.

Is the puzzle the same quality as the plain generator?

Identical. It is the full 9x9 engine — single-solution verified, with difficulty graded by the actual solving technique required (easy = singles, medium = locked candidates, hard = an X-Wing/XY-Wing-class move, expert = chains). The style is only a frame.

Why one or two puzzles per page?

The vintage card needs room to read. For a dense, no-frills practice run (up to six per page, or large print), use the plain classic generator — it produces the same calibre of puzzle without the decoration.

Does it print well at home?

Yes. The styles use solid, printer-friendly colors on a light ground and reproduce cleanly on a home inkjet or laser. They also make a nice framed gift or a classy puzzle for a dinner party or a long flight.

Is the answer key included?

Yes — leave it checked and the solutions print after the puzzle pages, each captioned with the same id as its puzzle (e.g. H-1042) for quick checking.

Is it free?

Completely — no signup, no email, no watermark. Print as many as you like.
